Zell, Gerlos, Königsleiten/Wald and Krimml – In summer, these 4 villages offer a hiking paradise of the highest order. The Zillertal Arena network of hiking trails is no less than 400km long and is often called the hiking arena.
There are beautiful trails across the meadows near Rosenalm, Kreuzjoch, Isskogel and Wilde Krimml, which are part of the green Grass Mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps.
Another special feature is definitely the valley landscape. The Seitentäler Schwarzachtal, Wimmertal, Schönachtal, Wildgerlostal, Krummbachtal and Krimmler Achental. And, in each of these valleys, a hiker will never have to walk for much more than an hour before reaching a comfortable, well run mountain hut café.
